Happy New Year

It is a new year and the media has us all afraid of our own shadows.  All you have to do is go out to the barn and you find that life is the same today as it was 6 months ago.  The horses still want fed every morning and night, and Penelope our dog and cats are waiting for attention as well.  It is a great feeling to go to the barn and see some things don’t change.  None of the animals are worried about tomorrow, just today and if you are going to do your duty and fill their feed buckets.

I’m off my soap box now and really just want to take this opportunity to tell all our friends that we appreciate them and wish all of you a prosperous 2009.

Let us pray that the spring arrives with the blessings of three healthy colts!

We have not forgotten you Necho!  We found out recently that we have some frozen semen from Necho and are going to attempt to breed back all the mares with it.  We attempted to freeze his semen this past summer.  The quality wasn’t good enough for sale, but hopefully with a little luck and help from above we can get the ladies pregnant for another year.

Stay tuned; Hazel, Dirngrafin, and Netieva are starting to show and we are 4 months away from some new members of the family to arrive.  Penelope will be in heaven as she loves babies!

Happy New Year and May God Bless each of you.
